There is need for more collaborative and participatory style of curriculum than a content centred topdown delivery. Web being so much part of the digital generation, it has to be incorporated more into a participatory playground of learning.sanyasihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916458019816348495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3824706373403168773.post-12318381146214347312011-03-13T21:23:03.113-06:002011-03-13T21:23:03.113-06:00Paul, I like your note that the curriculum has to ...Paul, I like your note that the curriculum has to evolve creatively...do you have any main changes that you would make in your journalism course now that you've experienced MACT?Dr. Jessica Laccettihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12820510348273741004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3824706373403168773.post-63585765605124850312011-03-06T20:00:55.147-07:002011-03-06T20:00:55.147-07:00New Journalistic delivery
Reading your post made ...New Journalistic delivery

Reading your post made me think of my own experience. I had the opportunity to go back to my alma mater after fifteen years. I was one among the first batches of Journalism students in that college. I had the opportunity to do a presentation to the graduate students in the college. Of course the class room set up with LCD projectors and smart board have changed from my time; there were obvious changes in the implementation of the curriculum too. But with my introduction to MACT program as a background, made me think of few other possibilities.

Lynch’s observation seems to be fare: "journalism schools will need to un-bundle themselves from the journalism industry and instead focus on the concept of collaborative knowledge production rather than authoritative content delivery". The curriculum has to evolve creatively into these newer versions of delivery.sanyasihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916458019816348495noreply@blogger.com
